Sherman Long, P.A.-C.

Sherman Jovahn Long is a native of Arlington, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in cellular biology from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, where he also played collegiate basketball. Jovahn received his Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Harding University in Arkansas.

Jovahn joined Dr. Field Scovell’s team at Carrell Clinic in 2023. He is licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates.

In his free time, he enjoys finding new hole-in-the-wall places to eat, online gaming with friends, and finding good places to hike around the United States. He also coaches grade school AAU basketball.
