Dr. Eugene Curry’s Achilles Tendon Patient Has Incredible Postop Weight Loss Journey
Jared B., a patient of Dr. Eugene Curry at the Carrell Clinic, has shared an inspiring story of recovery and personal transformation. After undergoing two Achilles tendon surgeries (November 2021 and June 2022) and facing significant weight challenges, Jared has made remarkable strides in his health and well-being.
Following the surgeries, Jared embarked on a journey of self-guided physical therapy and a dedicated weight loss program. Through consistent walking, meal prepping, and a commitment to a healthier lifestyle, he has lost an impressive 118 pounds since May 2023.
"Everything is going absolutely phenomenally with my left Achilles," said Jared. "[I’m] able to live life, go on trips, hang out with friends and family and enjoy life again."
